Head Over Heels Episode 10 – Ghosts, Confessions, and the Fight for Identity

In Episode 10 of Head Over Heels (2025), Seong-ah confronts Bong-su in Gyeon-woo’s body while searching for the lost soul. A tale of sacrifice, unspoken love, and the lingering pull of the spirit world.

👻 Opening – “Where Is Gyeon-woo?”

Episode 10 opens in silence as Seong-ah stares at Gyeon-woo—except he isn’t Gyeon-woo. His body is now fully possessed by Bong-su, the spirit soldier. With chilling calmness, Bong-su says: “I devoured him.”

The emotional terror isn’t in the supernatural—it’s in the possibility that Gyeon-woo is truly gone.

💀 A Deal with the Dead – The Suicide Ghost

To anchor himself in the body permanently, Bong-su must perform a ritual involving drawing blood in front of a suicide ghost. This blood pact forces him to become more than a spirit—it turns him into something darker.

💘 “I Just Want to Stay Beside Her”

In a moment of eerie vulnerability, Bong-su admits he doesn’t want revenge or power. He wants something more tragic: to be loved.

“If I can’t be loved as Bong-su… then I’ll become Gyeon-woo.”

The spirit’s motivations become clearer—and sadder.

🕯️ Contacting the Lost Soul

During the Hour of the Ox, Seong-ah performs a dangerous rite to connect with Gyeon-woo’s lost soul. He appears in fragments—memories of war, regret, and mountains. She learns that Bong-su’s regret is the key to freeing him.

💍 The Silver Ring – A Ghost’s Burden

The true reason Bong-su can’t rest: he died with a silver ring meant for his comrade’s mother, but never delivered it. That guilt tied him to the world.

Seong-ah finds the ring. She understands: it’s not about exorcising Bong-su. It’s about releasing his pain.

💔 “I’ll Live as Gyeon-woo”

In the most chilling scene, Bong-su declares: “From now on, I’m Gyeon-woo.” He abandons his identity, fusing fully into the living boy’s life. Seong-ah is left reeling.

But is he lying? Or does a piece of Gyeon-woo still remain?

😢 Confession… or Manipulation?

Earlier, Bong-su (as Gyeon-woo) whispers: “I want my first kiss to be with you.”

It’s romantic—but is it real? The scene asks a haunting question: can love survive if the person inside has changed?

🪦 Laying the Past to Rest

In a quiet finale, Seong-ah brings the ring to Bong-su’s friend’s grave. She weeps, not just for the soldier, but for everything lost—youth, identity, and love warped by spirits.

🔮 Teaser for Head Over Heels Episode 11:

The ritual is done—but who came back? Gyeon-woo? Bong-su? Or something in between? In Episode 11, Seong-ah confronts the answer—and decides if she can love the soul inside, no matter whose name it wears.
